ATH-Token Foundry and Renmin University's Gaoling AI Institute open-sourced LOGOS-1B, the first generative foundation model with a unified 'science grammar' for multiple scientific domains. It encodes proteins, small molecules, etc. as discrete tokens and performs tasks like ligand generation, retrosynthesis prediction, and MOF material design via sequence prediction without 3D coordinates. With 1B params, it beats 3D diffusion models and NatureLM (8×7B) on pocket-conditioned ligand generation, achieves 74.8% top-1 accuracy on retrosynthesis, and 17.78 NBB on MOF generation. Weights, code, and tech report are fully open. The post does not disclose training data size, hardware requirements, or inference speed.
